Today one of my consultancy clients, MacIntyre, have published a guide to running roundtable training days with staff that they co-produced with me. You can read the guide here: https://www.macintyrecharity.org/our-expertise/dementia/dementia-resources/roundtables-best-practice-guide/
The roundtable format was originally developed by MacIntyre’s Dementia Project team, in conjunction with me, as a way of bringing staff together in regional locations, with pre-chosen topics, to provide peer support for each other within an informal learning environment.
The guide gives tips and advice for any organisation wishing to organise and run a roundtable event for staff, from arranging a venue to preparing topics.
First new resource of 2019: Reducing the Risk of #Falls. Alongside this eBook, we have released two supporting documents. One is a case study with @bethyb1886 and the second is how to run a Roundtable event! https://t.co/Wz7wOQKk6y #FridayFeeling #LearningDisability #RT
