Dementia, Dept of Health & Social Care, G8 Dementia Summit

Today I joined other key figures within the dementia world to advise the UK Government on strategy for the first ever G8 Dementia Summit.

The Summit aims to develop coordinated global action against what is fast becoming one of the greatest pressures on governments, families, carers and health systems around the world.

This workshop drew on the expertise of a wide-range of stakeholders, including industry, national research organisations, charities, key opinion leaders, professors and physicians.

The G8 Dementia Summit will take place in London on 11 December 2013.
