Following my session at The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Show 2025, I am delighted to be returning to the rebranded Care and Dementia Expo for a speaking session and to chair a lived experience panel on Wednesday 25th March 2026.

My speaking session, at 11.50am, is entitled ‘Make a change today to improve tomorrow: Practical takeaways for dementia support!’ The summary is:

Join former family carer turned dementia consultant, Beth Britton, as she reprises the success of her 2025 session on wellbeing to delve into more practical takeaways that are useful for anyone with a personal or professional interest in dementia. Beth will share ideas (and handouts!) with the aim of inspiring you to make no-cost or low-cost changes to your dementia support.

I will provide a few printed copies of resources I’ll be signposting to at the event, but if you don’t manage to get one, you can download them as follows:

Life Story Worksheet

Nature Worksheet

I am also chairing a panel at 2.15pm entitled: ‘Learn about dementia from people living with dementia Q&A’ where I will be joined by George Rook and Ronnie Dean, both of whom are Experts by Experience. The summary is:

People living with dementia are experts in their dementia. Hear about their experiences and ask your questions in this Q&A panel discussion hosted by Beth Britton MBE, Freelance Campaigner, Consultant, Writer, Blogger and Former Carer.

My thanks to Nigel and the conference team for these opportunities to speak and to the audiences who will join the sessions
