It has been wonderful to visit Alzheimer’s Support at The Old Silk Works Club in Wiltshire today with Liz Jones from the National Care Forum (NCF).

Alzheimer’s Support were one of the winners at the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards that I judged and NCF sponsored. It was fantastic to meet some of their Club Members and enjoy lunch together, as well as hearing from their staff team about the services they provide.

Many photos were taken of the day, but this is one of my favourites because it shows the fun we shared together. I especially enjoyed my conversation with Club Member Duncan about football (we support rival teams!), cricket and much more. Many thanks to the Old Silk Works Club Members and the staff team – including Grant Newton, Sarah Marriott and Steph Bardzil – for their hospitality. Look out for a blog about our visit in due course!
