In my role as one of 3 consultants on MacIntyre’s Dying to Talk Project, I’m supporting the Project lead – Nicola Payne – with a takeover of the UK Commission on Bereavement’s (UKCB) twitter account today.
Do follow the UKCB as Nicky and I provide information about the Dying to Talk Project, share tips and resources that relate to grief and bereavement, and support the Commission’s Call to Action to encourage people with a learning disability (and families and professionals who support people with learning disabilities) to tell the Commission about their bereavement experiences. Look out for the live tweet chat that we are running at 12 noon!
You can also visit the UK Commission on Bereavement website to find out more about their work.
Hi, I’m Beth from @HealthLD. I look forward to tweeting for the UKCB today, sharing information about our #DyingToTalk project https://t.co/opc96SV57v & supporting people with a #LearningDisability to talk about #death & #dying. Say hi to the team!👇 pic.twitter.com/FRLmkFYeYV

The #UKCB wants to hear the views of the LD community on Bereavement. Throughout the day we will show our work, explore some of the issues the sector faces, answer your questions and get your feedback on things can be improved. pic.twitter.com/IwY8E3NVoN
