I am a National Member of the Dementia Action Alliance (DAA), which requires the periodical updating of my action plan. You can read my newly updated action plan here.

The Dementia Action Alliance is a movement with one simple aim: to bring about a society-wide response to dementia. It encourages and supports communities and organisations across England to take practical actions to enable people to live well with dementia and reduce the risk of costly crisis intervention.

There are currently over 1400 organisations working together through the DAA. The membership includes large and small charities, Royal Colleges, Pharmaceutical companies, local authorities, acute trusts and local businesses.

I am extremely proud to be a member of the DAA, and in particular my involvement with the DAA Carers’ Call to Action (CC2A). Please do take some time to read more about the DAA and the CC2A.
